Anyone else having problems getting gp to prescribe this?

Hello.

You don't say why your GP wont prescribe this to you, but if they are saying no, there must be a valid reason. It may be that it was only prescribed by your consultant short term. It is not common that it is prescribed for long term use. If you have concerns regarding the GP's decision, you need to telephone the eye secretary at the eye clinic to make the consultant aware.

My gp said its hospital who should supply it and vice versax

I would definitely call the eye secretary to make them aware of the issue.
