We all want to be in a world without glaucoma sight loss. By supporting and funding research, at Glaucoma UK we hope we're bringing people together to work on that mission.

Would you like to join us?

We have a page on our website where we advertise current opportunities to take part in glaucoma research. These are really varied. Do any of the following apply to you?

* Do you ever struggle to put in your eye drops? Do you need help from a partner? Do you ever skip doses? Sign up to a focus group to share your views, and help inform new ways of supporting people with their eye drops.

* Have you lost vision due to glaucoma? Can you share your views to help ensure social support services are better designed for people with a visual impairment?

* Do you find visual field testing stressful and difficult? You are not alone! Take part in research that's trying to find easier and less stressful, but still accurate, ways to carry out the visual field test.

Hello I'm sorry to hear this. There is lots of research happening across the country, and you can take part in some of the research online or by phone. So if you're keen to join in, it's always worth having a look at what's available as there may be something you can take part in I'll keep flagging new projects to everyone here, as it's great to hear some of you are interesting in taking part.

Hello, I would definitely be interested in taking part in any research especially if it can help fellow glaucoma sufferers! I no longer drive, but am willing to take part in online or phone research. Hope this helps. Regards, Gill
