C1 license re-in statement

I had my C1 entitlement removed when I was issued a 3 yr licence, how do I go about getting it back ? Anyone had this problem ?

I only require it back to drive motorhome over 3500kg.

When someone has glaucoma and given a 3 year licence, they automatically lose the C1 part of their driving licence. This is because a motorhome it is much bigger/wider than a domestic car. You can contact the DVLA regarding this to ask what needs to be done to reinstate the C1 category and whether a different test has to be done. You can either write to them or email them at [e-mail] They will then pass to the relevant department to review your request.

Thank you Trish for the reply, I still drive vans for my living, (carpenter) but would like to share the driving on holidays with my wife 🤷‍♂️I can only try 😊
