Hiya!

I have lovely long lashes from prostaglandin Trufprost drops in one eye BUT there are some random lashes growing right in the inner corner and two of them keep on bending inward irritating my eye quite a bit. Will head to the Dr. but has anyone else had this problem and how was it solved..plucking them? :0

I too have lovely long lashes - I have to instil Dorzolamide/Timolol, Dexamethasone and Bitamoprost daily … I don’t know which one is responsible - provably the Bitamoprost. About a month ago I had 1 that was growing inward at the same angle as your one… it irritated a bit and I noticed about 2 weeks ago it had disappeared. I guess it just fell out! I didn’t dare touch it! If you’re under the Eye Clinic at the Hospital they will advise or your Optometrist.

Hello. Yes, this can sometimes be a problem for people, with or without drops. The lashes would need to be plucked by your eye specialist. Your GP may be able to help, even if it is to get you an earlier appointment, to get them removed.

Thank you Helen! Am headed to my ophmatologist tomorrow. I think my finger pressing on that eye corner after the drops has made things worse!
