Has anyone any advice on ectropion eye? I have glaucoma and diplopia and have been advised to have an operation to tighten the bottom eyelid. This is on my good eye, so I am rather nervous about it.

Hello. It is a good operation to have when required. As you say it will tighten your lower eye lid and help prevent your eye from becoming so dry and causing problems to the surface of your eye.

It won't affect your glaucoma by having this performed and if you use eye drops, it may even help your eye drop to remain in your eye for longer instead of trickling out.
