glaucoma and cataracts

I attended a glaucoma clinic in January. Second time since 2020 because of lockdown I was told I am suspect to it. I had a cataract removed in my left ey last April. When I attended glaucoma clinic in January I was told should have had other eye done I had that done last weekend. Then they can monitor the glaucoma, it was a a different experience this time having cataract removed. It felt like he was removing small bits at a time. My sight is not as clear as first time. I know it’s early days. First cataract removal was like a scanner coming across my eye clearing it away. Much more relaxing for me ,has anyone else had this experience when having them removed. And were they suspect glaucoma.

Hello Annamay17

As you say it is still early days and it can be that two eyes in the same head, don't react the same, it doesn't mean that there is anything wrong. It could have been that your cataract was denser in your right eye and that's why it felt different. That is just one suggestion.

If you do feel concerned at all, do contact the hospital.
