Glaucoma and Cataracts

Looking forward to the zoom session on Monday night on Glaucoma and cataracts at 6.30. I wonder a) how soon you can get new glasses and b) how soon you can fly. I had my first cataract with stents 5 weeks ago and will be having the second next week. They are being done for pressure purposes rather than being really bad.

Hi Marg75, the standard recommendation to get new glasses is around 6 weeks, as by this time your vision should have stabilised. It is also recommended to wait 24-48 hours before flying. I hope you find the session on Monday informative and useful.
