Hello, I had 7 weeks ago urgent surgery to insert a PAUL tube shunt implant in one of my eyes, due to failure to control the pressure anymore with eye drops. I experience ghosting images that fluctuate a bit but got worst the last two weeks. My IOP pressure post-op is well controlled (14 mm Hg). I am still on a low-dose dexamethasone regime for a couple of weeks. The doctor said that the healing and everything are going great.
Has anyone else experienced ghosting after this type of surgery after a month post-op? Might you have a similar experience to share? It would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Yes I had ghosting for several months after Presserflo surgery, it was really bad but the doctors just ignored it and concentrated on what my eye pressures were doing. I had to have 2 revision operations to unblock the shunt tube as it wasn't working.
However, after nearly a year the pressures are fine and the ghosting has gone away.
I had ghosting after my trab on my other eye as well.
It is certainly very disconcerting, but mine did eventually settle down after a few months of gradually getting a bit better. Everybody is different though and yours could settle much earlier. I hope this helps.
