There is probably a time in everyone’s life when they feel lonely and panicky. And why not? We’re only human! The best piece of advice about social media is, if something upsets or annoys you, maybe just keep scrolling; no-one can force you to react to it. And it may be better for you if you don’t. Poor you Jennymary, what an awful year you have had. We all get them sometimes - but you are a strong lady and you will get through this. Be kind to yourself and I hope you are getting the right help and support to aid your recovery. We will all miss you if you leave the forum so please reconsider, even if it means keeping quiet for a few months while you focus on getting better. Thinking of you and wishing you well xx

Three cheers for you mrswaffle, I agree with you. It is hard for all of us, especially if we have had glaucoma for many years. It is not generally understood by the public and I have had my condition compared to a cataract operation many times.
