Hi Gurjar certain exercises do increase eye pressure at least temporarily and are not advisable if you have glaucoma or are a glaucoma suspect. With OHT you are more at risk of developing glaucoma so I would assume it would be the same for you but your consultant should be able to clarify this. My consultant told me no heavy weights and no yoga positions where your head is below your heart but apart from that he's very happy with me exercising . Walking is a great exercise and there should be no issues with that. I workout everyday, I do a variety of exercises including jump rope, kickboxing, lifting light weights and walking 10 plus miles with my dog . Exercise keeps me happy. I hope this helps .

Hi Witchie....Thanks For your reply....These are the exercises for which I was asking...... and yoga exercise I want to know is in sitting position....Actually I dnt have any consultant....So I am searching on google for these.

Yoga sitting positions should be fine as your head will be above your heart. My consultant would be fine with me doing those weighted exercises but only with light weights. Breathing is very important too as holding your breath while doing weights increases your eye pressure
