Are watery steroid drops less effective?

I just got a new prescription for Pred Forte drops and found this round a lot more watery than usual.

Hi I've been using Pred Forte for about 10 months and they seem to be working fine in terms of keeping my uveitis under control. Are you shaking the container before using them? My consultant was very strict about this. Only slight issue for me is the white residue these drops leave in my eyes.

Yes I'm shaking the bottle. Usually it has a thicker consistency so I'm a bit worried it's not working properly. Another member advised that I get a new script so think I'll do this as it's not worth the risk ay

Hi. I hope you have managed to sort your drops out. I was just wondering if they had given you Prednisolone drops instead of Pred forte drops?

Thanks, not yet but hopefully tomorrow. They gave me Pred Forte. Sometimes they give me Prednisone though. I thought these were basically the same?
