Hi Sorry to hear this.

Are you spending a lot of time in front of the computer ?

If so then that can be tiring even without the glaucoma. I think glaucoma drops might cause dry eye which is horrible.

I was advised to use eye lubricant and to remember to look away from the screen regularly. (20, 20, 20).

Hope you have a good rest this evening

Hi definitely take dry eye drops! I never realised just how important they are and just how often I should be taking them. Like you before I fortunately retired I’d spend the whole day working from a laptop analysing data. I’d get so immersed it what I was doing I just completely would forget to rest my eyes! Hindsight is a wonderful thing so heed advice take the eye drops regularly and rest your poor eyes. Now I set alarms to remind me re drops, my grandsons are well trained to and always asking if I’ve taken my drops 🤣take care

My optician told me recently that a heated eye bag is even more effective than drops. If it's bad she suggested using both.

Sorry to hear that. I find work a struggle too. I’ve recently changed to preservative free drops and it really helped with the dry eyes. My Dr had given me Hyloforte dry eye drops which I used constantly throughout the day plus a night gel too. A warmCompress over the eyes is also soothing too at the end of the day. However, any concerns just call your clinic or optician even and get a pressure check. Take care x

Thankyou all

After I left hospital I was advised to bathe the eye by boiling water, letting it cool down lukewarm to touch in a bowl, dipping a folded tissue in the bowl and running it across your closed eyelids, repeating with a clean tissue until it feels soothed :-)
