Simbrinza eye drops ??? preservative free version available.

I have searched unsuccessfully online to find Simbrinza without preservatives . Is it available yet anywhere ? Having had eye surgery 10 days ago , the other unoperated eye( still being treated with Simbrinza) feels hot and sore in comparison. Has anyone tried Brinzolamide and Brimonidine separately instead ? I should be grateful to hear if anyone has any information .

Simbrinza is not available in the preservative free option. Brinzolamide and Brimonidine are not preservative drops. If you are experiencing side effects please contact your consultant. They would want to know if you are experiencing any side effects. This is so they can look at an alternative drops for you.

Thank you, my Consultant knows about the side effects from Simbrinza as I have been seeing him regularly after the recent surgery to the other eye, but he says that there are no more drops to try, apparently I have tried them all.!

Interesting to hear that you are doing well on Monoprost . I am on Bimatoprost plus Simbrinza, but the pressure is rising again ..18 and 20 recently and it should be low teens for my Normal Tension glaucoma.

I will ask the consultant if Monoprost would be worth trying instead of Bimatoprost. Thank you.
