Has COVID-19 affected how your glaucoma has been treated or managed? Has it caused you anxiety?

Yes, I am massively stressed by not being able to keep a check on my IOP. This is always the case, but made much worse by my 5-month waiting time for a routine glaucoma check-up being extended to nearly 9 months.

Just hoping that that forthcoming date doesn’t get cancelled yet again.

I had to arrange an eyesight test with an optician just to get my IOP checked as part of the test.

I strongly recommend opticians offering this test, it’s perfectly quick and easy using the ‘puff’ method.
