Is there a connection.
I know my anxiety could well be connected to my mental health, but it's weird my off- the - scale anxiety disappeared virtually overnight. My anxiety affected everything I did.
I have long covid(pasc) and have memory problems . I thought this was to do with the first wave covid infection, but I'm now wondering.
Last summer I started having a lot of sweats sometimes ten a day , and thought it was due to the humid summer but they continued into autumn. About the same time I developed what I was told was seasonal allergy. Post nasal drip, ice pick headaches occasionally, and sinus and ear problems.Had to push to get examined at all.
They now say this is problems with my eustachian tubes(.6 months later) . And been prescribed naseptin cream .
The memory problems is the scary thing, the long covid clinic haven't been helpful( long story) but I've now been referred back to the long covid clinic doctor on 17th Feb only by being persistent.
Is there anything I can say to get her to get me tests.
I fear I'll be ignored due to my mental health
Can I get tests to see if the damp had an effect on me. I'm worried in case the anxiety comes back if more damp develops . The damp work was just one wall, and I was told it was soaked three quarters of the way down the wall, it's a quirky construction old house and there was an issue with a strange gutter set up.
When I told the doctor my anxiety had disappeared virtually overnight, he didn't seem to take it seriously, and said " don't knock it" and inferred it was my ptsd diminishing.
Help please
