GAthertonAdministratorFungal Infection Trust
Ringworm (casued by a skin fungus) is not likely to cause you or your baby any harm. It can appear in pregnancy, possibly because carrying a child can alter your immune system slightly. You must take care over which medication you might take to clear up this infection as some are not recommended to take whilst pregnant - for that reason see your doctor or pharmacist.
NB if you are living with other people they may also need to be treated nhs.uk/conditions/ringworm/
