Once growing, fungi such as these produced aerial structures (a bit like tiny mushrooms) that shed million of spores. In the main these are carried in even slight air currents - in the outside air we can easily get many thousands of spores per cubic metre of air as part of our normal environment. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spore

There are several different types of fungi - mushrooms are only one type and the mushroom released million of spores from its gill structures underneath the cap.

from the mold its self. You can not see spores with the name eye but they sure do wreck havoc on us!!
