My friend has been suffering from a stomach virus these last3wks,she says she still feels weak as a kitten ,and has little energy,is this normal after an illness,I'd like to help her somehow,

almost certainly .. rest fluids if in doubt see gp

Hi, I agree - rest and fluids, also a simple and healthy easy to digest diet (look online for which foods) also make sure she knows if she is intolerant to any foods. Probiotics will probably help after a stomach virus, see GP if nothing diagnosed as bad gut bacteria has recently been related to all sorts of other problems.
