Very sore mouth & tongue

My mouth keeps feeling sore, this affects my tongue, roof of mouth & gums, also feels sensitive & hot. I have several health issues including hypothyroidism, ME/CFS, fibromyalgia & hypertension so not sure if any of these could be the cause?

Advice appreciated 🤞

It could be due to some of your medication ?

I have Sjögren’s and can have alot of problems because of dryness, i try rinsing with warm salty water. If it doesn’t improve ask your dentist they can give good advice.

If your prescription meds include any that are steroid based, this could be the cause, its often as a result of your immune system retaliating!. Talk to your doctor about this if you think this may be a possibility, there are anti-virals available to help alleviate the symptoms.
