Hi,
I have a non diabetic neuropathy and restless leg syndrome. The neuropathy is on my feet. What causes the flare ups? And what can I do about it? Is RLS and neuropathy related?
Any solutions would be most appreciated

Low Iron can cause RLS and LOW B12 can be s cause of neuropathy. I would test B12 - Folate - Ferritin - VitD. These are not routine tests and need to be requested ...
Magnesium should help the RLS, I get spray on and in pill form, because it helps me with leg cramps. As for the neuropathy, I've had mine 10 years, it's pretty bad, makes me nuts. Just try different over the counter help like Turmeric and vitamins and see what combo works for you. I found that moving around helps. I feel worse on weekends when I rest, maybe that's just me.....
I have both neuropathy and RLS. I take requip for RLS for yrs yrs I have to take 6 mg everyday. Gabapentin for neuropathy. They both have to deal wifh neurology I gather they just might
