... condition, especially when their diagnoses have not been made accurately or communicated clearly. He has also gained support from David Putrino and is concerned that people with Long Covid are being diagnosed with FND and, like me, is also concerned that people with rare conditions are frequently misdiagnosed with FND. He also has the support of George Monbiot who wrote a brilliant refutation of the current biopsychosocial model (which got good feedback when I posted about it in this Hub) and, like me, he is concerned about the actual misdiagnosis stats re FND rather than the reported ones so we need to know what the barriers are to recording misdiagnoses (well, actually, we know what they are, but not why they are still in place).
