Sharing this newly published article from Re-Active, an Organisation that advocating for FND patients to be validated, rule in test re dx and correct referrals to help rehabilitation with a lot of suggestions for the professionals to get it right.

I know there is an update required re: Stone reference article 2, as I tgink FND is tbe 8th most common condition in Neurology (not 2nd).

Thanks for posting this sensible, compassionate article about FND. Hopefully it will change some doctors' minds about what it really is and who the sufferers are.

Definitely, if people get seen in a timely manner and are giving rehabilitation sooner their quality of life will be improved.

I will be giving this reference to my exasperated GP next time I see her ..exasperation caused by a rejection of 3 referrals she made on my behalf, to places which like playing ping pong with each other.

Great. Let me know how you get on. Fingers crossed you get the referrals and they can see the benefits long term.

The way sufferers are treated (or not treated) causes stress and anxiety.
