Has anyone even attempted to tell you what's causing the dizziness? There are treatments out there but you need to get accurately diagnosed before you can get a proper treatment plan.

All my GP says you have had all the tests and tablets don't work you are going to have too cope with it , I said how do I cope with great difficulty.

I agree with Lady4. You need a new GP who actually wants you to be as well as possible, as per your human rights. Very few GPs are trained in motion sensation conditions and will usually default to 'common things are common' when making a diagnosis. The tests are usually ruling out tests whereas for a FND dx you should be told what the 'ruling in' signs are so if you haven't been told what they are/were I'd be inclined to reject the FND dx.

I would also try to be aware of your head position as you attempt various activities, so you can avoid those that trigger you more easily... as it would seem you are not dizzy all the time...this may then help with a more precise diagnosis from the medics.

Ps. I would attempt weeding when its so hot, it knocks me about so I tend to garden when its cooler.

Have you been assessed for visual vestibular dysfunction? After 4 years of what I now know is visual vertigo, I went to a balance specialist who has diagnosed a vestibular issue that means my brain relies on my eyes too much, so in busy (or very bright!) settings I get vertigo. It's fixable with exercises. Up till now it's all been dismissed as a functional symptom. Hope you get some help.

BPPV. Vestibular eye dysfunction. I have it. Horrible. Epley procedure supposed to help.... my eyes used to wiggle horizontal now. Vertical. Be careful the way you move your head and roll in bed... sets it off
