FND help please
Hi Magora2024,
What was the rationale given for your FND dx? Neurologists are meant to give this either during the consultation or in the clinic letter. So if you haven't had this condition explained to you (along with the reasons why the neurologist thinks you have it) then I'd contact your GP/the practice manager and request that they follow up on this. As far as I know they should not give a FND dx on the basis of someone experiencing pain unless there are other symptoms and signs that are consistent with FND.
Service dogs are great and people with both migraine and epilepsy (amongst other conditions) have found them to be a huge help. I don't know how you would register/train your lab but there will be easily accessible organisations who should be able to help with this and citizens advice might be a good place to start.
I’ve had a seizure this week and been feeling ill ever since they think this as I get tingling, my joints lock, seizure and I will drop stuff or my foot will give way I contacted my GP they just compared to to a computer which didn’t really help
