Hi i was diagnosed last year ,I get left sided arm and leg weakness with tremor and spasms and walking issues but my main pain is when I walk (more than 10mins) the back of my knees hurt so much it feels like something is stretching tight, also its like my legs keep forgetting how to walk and I have to keep resetting my pace to correct this. Also I find it really difficult to.push a shopping trolley in the store ..weird 🤔. I also have fibromyalgia, hypermobility & osteoarthritis....basically I'm trying to work out if this is fnd or one of the others, it's confusing having all 4 but if I can work out which 1 it is I can tell my neurologist at my next appointment. TIA.
Is this normal for fnd?: Hi i was... - Functional Neurol...
Is this normal for fnd?

What I've learnt over the years, there is no set 'normal' for FND. I have left weakness and delayed reaction on left, I also forget which foot comes next while walking. Every so often have to stop, breath, as I'm about to tip over to the left. It's difficult when you have multiple health issues to know what is the cause. Stress can cause multiple symptoms, but who doesn't have stress. Take note of your symptoms for your next neurologist visit. Hope you get some answers. Take care. Moni
I get the same thing with my fnd, another symptom that I’m afraid, ask your healthcare provider about some physiotheraphy. We have something near us called float it’s basically a sensory deprivation tank really helped me with the symptoms.Go at least once a month-massage also helps relieve pressure on the nerves and really helps with movement problems-helps me anyway.Hope you get some relief from your symptoms ❤️
I tried telling the first neurologist all about my symptoms and he could care less. The second neurologist was very smart and new right off the bat What was going on. I suggest you check your anxiety because I have at least 10 things wrong with me.
But the anxiety is causing a few of them.
