Texas Treatment

Anyone know of a multidisciplinary clinic for FND in or near Texas? It seems like it’s nonexistent.

Also looking for a place to live for young adult. It seems like options are either a long-term nursing facility with the elderly or a group home with those with severe intellectual disabilities.

Any information would be appreciated.

Hello Care,

I'm originally from Texas and currently live here. But was misdiagnosed with FND in Ohio.

To be really honest, I don't know of a place that is helpful in any state. FND is a disorder not even Dr's seem to understand, let alone can explain. To me it signifies that we are lacking any understanding of the disorder.

I hope you are able to find something that helps. Feel free to message me anytime. #TexasStrong.

Best,

Matt

I'm sorry. I'm in the Northeast. There's assisted living but I'm sure it's super expensive where I live.

Stanford has an inpatient multidisciplinary program and I understand there is also a 4 to 6 week program out of LA but those are the closest of which I’m aware. I’m sorry there’s nothing closer
