Puffy eyelid and face

A symptom of my condition is that my left check becomes puffy and my left eyelid. This used to happen if I was hungry, tired, stressed, when its really cold or really humid but I have noticed that my left side is like this daily now. Has anyone else noticed changes in their condition where is used to be intermittent but now becoming more permanent?

Hi Yes my one side of my face is more puffy than the other which now seem to be permanent, since having fnd. My face shape has changed a lot it's very weird. I'm hope that it will go at some stage because my face did dropped on one side but that seems to be lifting a little so fingers crossed it will all improve in time. Hope that helps you a little

🙂

Your very welcome and yes it's nice not to be alone in what you're going through, as it's hard and can be a bit worrying with all the strange symptoms to deal with. Take care and stay safe 🙂

I have similar symptoms to you. After being dx as fnd I had an episode in front of migraine specialist and I am formally dx with hemiplegic migraine. I believe u may have it also! Taking sibelium 5mg to reduce episodes. Still not migraine free but better. Lots of other surgeries so maybe am more complicated but please do enquire! Best Wishes

Yes I also have this same problem, along with drooping eyelid and pain on that side. Other symptoms I had got better but this one has gotten worse. I'm hoping like other symptoms it will go back to being intermittent or subside completely. Hope you feel better soon.

Has this puffiness been checked for hereditary or acquired Angioedema?

Hi no it has not been checked for this as there is no fluid but pain sometimes. It is more puffy with a dent in the cheek and it came about after my second bout of bells palsy.
