Hi there everyone,

Have FND for 10 years, Now I find that there is something bigger that will wipe us out. Can we with FND cope with covid as well?? My answer is I dont know. Vacinations are rolling out but we are a long way down the list. To say I am very scared is an understatement, My 27 Year old son has just got covid which this has bought it home to me, am very sared am feel very alone.

I am so very sorry. Maybe take extra Vitamin C, D, Zinc and drink lots of fluids. It’s really a bad time for the entire World.

I'm sorry. Hate to think of having FND that long, let alone covid on top. But from what I read, my self included, many have multiple health problems. Covid is scary because it the fear of the unknown. I do hope your son gets the needed treatment and you keep safe.

Attempt to relax and take it day by day. COVID-19 can be deadly but only in certain populations like the elderly. It does not affect healthy individuals as much. The stress you are putting yourself under can cause the FND symptoms to increase. As to COVID-19, follow what your health officials are telling you as possible. Yes, FND suffers may have more symptoms of Covid-19 but the stress and the worrying will cause you more problems like lack of sleep. Again, try to relax and take care of yourself. This is all you can do at this time.

Hi there, understand completely what you say, ask your doctor to send social services to your house, this is not as bad as it sounds, they will do everything they can to help you, eg, raise your loo, raise your sofa for getting up, hand rails, hand grabs and much much more, they dont need to know any more about you, dont pry into your money business etc, perhaps give it a try...... lovexxxxxx
