I'm sorry. Hate to think of having FND that long, let alone covid on top. But from what I read, my self included, many have multiple health problems. Covid is scary because it the fear of the unknown. I do hope your son gets the needed treatment and you keep safe.
So sorry your son has covid I hope he get all the help he can , it is pretty scary I've had FND for 5 years myself .I had a phone call off the council from the first lock down to shield but it was late cause we was due to end the lock down so really you need to just be careful stay safe x
thank you for replying, my son is getting better, and you are right in what you say that a lot of us withFND have underlaying health problems.are you as scared as i am of catching covid xxxx
Hi, I understand it is scary at this very moment it's just best to to stay in and only go out when you need to get shopping that's what I do .I wear gloves and a mask for protection and keep sanitizer in your car for when you take your gloves off , I hope this helps you take care stay safe x
Attempt to relax and take it day by day. COVID-19 can be deadly but only in certain populations like the elderly. It does not affect healthy individuals as much. The stress you are putting yourself under can cause the FND symptoms to increase. As to COVID-19, follow what your health officials are telling you as possible. Yes, FND suffers may have more symptoms of Covid-19 but the stress and the worrying will cause you more problems like lack of sleep. Again, try to relax and take care of yourself. This is all you can do at this time.
Thank you for your reply and i agree with all you say. But as much as i try to relax and lessen the stress-i cant, dont want to take lorazepam, as last resort, thank you and please be carefulx
Any advice i've got fnd & going through the menopause to sleeping loads, pain in shoulder & then my fnd shaking knees & then my back neck, un-balancing problems to one daily job takes it out of me & nervous fight or flight always up really is a nightmare to live with
Hi there, understand completely what you say, ask your doctor to send social services to your house, this is not as bad as it sounds, they will do everything they can to help you, eg, raise your loo, raise your sofa for getting up, hand rails, hand grabs and much much more, they dont need to know any more about you, dont pry into your money business etc, perhaps give it a try...... lovexxxxxx
