Hi wlpg. Where in Canada are you? If you're in Vancouver, I've heard that the physios at tall tree on Commercial are good.
Thank you so much for replying.
I’m in the Nanaimo area on Vancouver Island.
What’s making me nervous is that my neurologist mentioned that if the physio is not skilled in FND motor problems the exercises could be counterproductive.
I’m not sure the best way to choose the right person?
Thanks again for replying 😊
I’m on the wait list for the inpatient program at UBC. I’ve been told that BC is the best in North America. Hopefully you can find someone trained. It’s true if it’s not FND physio that specially tailored to each individual it’s counterproductive. I would know I went through years of it. Before finding the only FND physio in Toronto.
How did you finally find the FND physio in Toronto?
Thank you. It’s much appreciated. I was referred to her by my previous physio as well as my internist. After 4 years I finally feel like I’m getting somewhere although I have very little mobility. I hope you find a good physio!
