Welcome.

Drenching sweats could be menopause (if you are female they can kick in mid-thirties if you are unlucky). Or the weather. You need to know your own body reaction to your climate (no one played with your heating?). Do you cope badly not being allowed outside?

If not have a real good look at your local coronavirus situation. A high fever is an important first symptom. DO NOT PANIC. This is just something to check. Follow local instructions, do not run directly to doctors as they need us to help them.

You might even have 'flu.

Personally I know why I have hot flushes and they have nothing to do with FND, check all options and don't assume that yours are until you have ruled out some more obvious problems.

Hi

I have FND and in the beginning (after banging my head)experienced lots of strange head "prickles", sometimes it felt like my face was sliding... Anyways almost 18 months later I still get very overwhelming heat - though my temperature stays normal. I don't know if this is linked to emotions that I'm maybe not aware of - maybe momentary anxiety or my processing being too challenged as this most often happens out of the house. It nearly always happens when I've had enough - I now call it my 10 minute warning - eat a cookie/sit down within ten minutes or everything turns to mush! Take care

Should be taking your temperature to see if in fact your temperature is rising because of illness or menopause.
