Hello at the start of this year I woke up with either wry neck or a slipped disc didn't get it looked at bed ridden for 3 weeks. Then for the past 6 months have had all symtoms of FND says the doc. Has anyone had electric shocks up back legs arms on neck flexion? With this FND I'm so lost that it's my brain after a neck injury. Thanks bell

I have that as well and also had neck surgery and am still having that from the top down and recently from the bottom up and suffer with severe neck pain and unfortunately for me head tremor and jerking are also symptoms of my fnd I had disc 3 thru 6 fused with metal plates cause I had severe spinal cord compression and would have ended up paralyzed from the waist down It was found after my spasms and tremor and jerking neck started go figure
Before my surgery and fnd diagnosis I also used to visit the chiropractor for severe headaches and very bad neck problems and it seemed to help not so sure it was a good idea now after the surgery and fnd diagnosis I still have the shocks ,zaps , bad neck pain headaches from hell and can’t find the proper pillow or sleeping position to help wake up in pain almost every day my neck only turns and bends less than normal because of the metal and fusion of the neck with bone
Wow lucky u got that surgery! Yes pillow big problem with my neck. I have had no surgery and no evidence of it hitting spinal my cord in mri I should have done it when I knew I couldnt move my neck. so it must be just fnd they tell me it's all in my head from stress. I know mild narrowing of cervical canal and disc ostphytec5c6 but they say it's not interfering. So when I put my neck down I just keep telling my self I'm stressed causing fnd even though my neck hurts and cracks and getting weaker I feel like my bones are so brittle Going to get a second opinion. Thanks for your reply I cant believe how much you have gone through so many people out there. I hope ur doing okay.
I have the narrow spinal canal as well and they also think my fnd is stress and trauma related but I still can’t wrap my head around that because I have my symptom flares when things are going well for me like this last flare started right before a vacation I was looking forward to some fun and relaxing and boom it started and hasn’t stopped it’s been almost 5 months and even after the surgery my neck still hurts cracks crunches and I had that surgery in 2005 I feel like something is wrong with my discs either above or below where my surgery was but I don’t really want more surgery I am sorry you are having pain and trouble just want you to know your not alone same with the fnd a lot of us are struggling and suffering. I hope you find some answers and relief soon my thoughts are with you.
