Hi , thank you for this wonderful site.

I have fibromyalgia and also M.E/ CFS for the last 20 year's and I have been dignosed with this FND inky last Friday. I have very little sensation in my right side along with facial droop and my words are coming out different then what I'm trying to say. Sobus my writing so please forgive any misspellings or wording. Ok m hoping I can get some information an advice here. I also have sever osteoarthritis in my lumbar spine and cervical spine trapping my nerves a lot of the time. I also have microvascular Angina and diabetes type 2 . I'm only 51. The neurologist feels all the episodes if what was classed as hemableiga migraine the last 26 years was actually this FND as well as my chronic migraines.

Im a reiki master and Holistic therapist of a lot of alternative therapies, and this is the only thing that has kept me out of a wheelchair.

I had to retire my business 4 year's ago due to my physical health.

All information on this condition would be very much appreciated.

I actually have been running a health and fitness free support and information group on Facebook for a number of years in the conditions I have and have been helping over a thousand and four hundred member's till my energy and life's dramatic changes in my family required my energy so now a good friend runs the group for me an when I have the energy and time I log in to be with my members of 850 now since I had to step back. I can advise on all the conditions I have above and would be only to glad to help. But if anyone could also help ke get my head around this condition please do. Thanks so much in advance. wow ...we do seem to have a few similar things going ...Hope I find you on one of your better days.... the sunshine is helping me today

I also have osteoarthritis in my lumbar spine since 08 and it’s deteriorating too. .... just had my 3rd lot of facet joint injections 🙄 and now will try to get back to my restorative yoga etc but found a 1 to 1 Pilates teacher that understands chronic pain etc too, which seems to be helping too.

Just wondering is your right side leg is also affected? And if so did they use the ‘hoover test’ on your legs to help diagnose your FND recently? This is how I was diagnosed 4 years ago but on my left side ....of course my mobility worsens when my back does too!

Yes the neurologist done the hoover examination as well as the Ballance, the co ordinate rhythm and the sencery sencers. She also got the ophthalmology consultant to see me while I was in hospital as an inpatient. My right eye keeps constantly twitching and is dropped with my face.

Yes dear friend my full right side has a weakness and my consintration keeps going also my words are perfect in side my mouth but soon as I open my mouth the words are back to front or a different word would come out totally bit the one I would of been trying to say and thus would continue in the full length of a conversation. Also my spelling would be off too.virs very frustrating . Thanks again for reaching out it's always good to be with like minded people 🤗😊
