Hi, I was just wondering how many people seem to be triggered by over activity?
I had a stressful week. So it is possible it was that. But to deal with it I did some heavy duty renovation work which brought back my symptoms. Right on time. They grew on the day I took down a false wall.
But I still maintain a sledge hammer is awesome therapy!!!! Hehe.

Yah me too. But I either have too much or too little and I end up having problems. I had been spending 2 -3 days in my garage sorting, organizing, cleaning, planning, etc. Im in between mechanic shops and brought my tools and boxes home. To also add I have to organize and clean up from doing a heavy duty job on 26 year old Cadillac.
My symptoms and attacks have been I say dormant or less because of the consistant mental and physical activity.
I do think the higher you work physically the more hard you have problems so its best if you could find a mental calm while working.
Yeah, but that is my calm. Getting stuck in and creating (though I had to destroy in this case).
I think I will just do what ever it is I want to do now. Both my kids have gone (of last week my son moved out 😀) so I no longer need to finish up quickly. I can have a few rest days to recover, deal with headaches and pain and then do some more.
I am really happy making my house my home at the moment. And after hot February I can start making my garden nice too.
Just as long as there is a balance of rest with mental activity and physical. Im still trying to figure that balance out.
I start a new job next Tuesday, Wednesday in Australia. Its your summer and our winter in the USA, so it a lot staying warm and indoors for the most part. Ill be working on diesel trucks which is a new avenue for me. Ill again have to relearn my balance once more pf both physical and mental work. What I do know is my brain needs mental breaks but it goes hay ward when it does so I need to find my anchor
I avoid long walks and running. However, even by stopping the walks and the running, I still go into what seems like a "functional coma" for a few days.
It really does seem like no matter how hard you work or how little it just seems to remind that its there right?
Ive been doing well for the past few days like ive been when I was working full-time it may help for you.
Basically I dont work physically hard I work medium. Nothing too heavy nothing too light. I am always trying to problem solve and thinking inside my head on different things like where this goes, how can I do that. At the same time of sweeping and taking out the trash.
You may not have time or what I have in my house which is a shop but I say let me know if there is something you could immerse yourself in all day. I know when I go back to work it wont be like that but at least it feels real nice to not under or over do it due to environmental stimulus or/and demand.
Maybe there is no rhyme or reason (That we can find). I am starting to feel that you just go with the flow. I am starting to just want to do what I need to do.
YES! I am finally listening to all you kind people. I am a stubborn old goat who has to find out the hard way. But I am getting there.
The good thing is hearing the same message so I don't feel like I am insane. So thanks for you all being patient. I am pretty sure I say the same things, in different words lol!
