Just a quick hello been awhile since I last post thought π I would post today . So it's summer here in oz and bam π₯ as usually I kick into relapse mode all the fun FND symptoms are back yey woohoo lol but as always I'm not letting it keep me down to long except when I'm asleep π΄ which is pretty much 20 hours out of the day the other 4 hours I make them count as much as I can . I hope you are all doing as well or as well as you can be. You are all amazing and having FND does not define who you are we might not be able to be cured but it doesn't mean we have to stop living maybe not how we used to but a new way that allows us to still live
Hey Ronwyn Great to hear from you, So glad your not letting FND get you down and your kicking it when your awake.. We all need to try and have this Attitude towards this illness and some days its hard but we all got to remember " We Are Strong" we will not allow FND to Beat Us.. It has been rather hot down here, down under, hasn't it! I'm officially Ipswich, but just outside SW Brisbane...where temps have been in the mid to high 30s. Where about's are you?
Are you on Facebook? If so, you might be interested in the FND Hope AU/NZ Facebook group. We've got more than 350 members, though lots of people only contribute when they need to (e.g. to vent or to ask about their symptoms). I would love to see you there.
Wow, you sleep a lot. I thought I was bad enough with 10-12 hours a day. I'd better go...The alarm will go off in less than 8 hours tomorrow (ugh!), but look forward to seeing you more in the Facebook group.
Hi Vivienne I'm in Sydney so it's been pretty hot down here not much diff from up qld , I'm on Facebook and I'm in the Australia FND group but havnt been on for quite awhile due my relapse but when I even donated a painting last year for the FND awareness auction it didn't get sold though lol . I promise I will make it my daily goal to atleast make it on everyday to help spread awareness on our condition . And no I was a little over the top on the 20 hours sleep but it does feel like it at times Iam in bed pretty much all day I get a window of many be a few hours if I'm lucky a day where I feel not as tired mostly in the early evenings so I'll take that if that's all I get I'm good with that . I hope you are doing as well as you can be.
