Thought I'd say hello! How are you all doing today 😍
Good morning : Thought I'd say hello... - Functional Neurol...
Good morning
Hi nice to hear from you.
I'm tired, want to just lie and not move today.
Having fun watching one of my cats go crazy with a tinsel stick I bought her.
I don't have the energy to chase them around anymore so it's wedged sticking up between cushions in couch.
She had one as a kitten and then they never sold them overseas again so my 13 1/2 year cat is being a kitten again today.
It's the small pleasures... 😊🐱
I feel you! I'm exhausted and feel really sick, but sleep evades me so I'm walking the dog! Love cats that play! It is the small things! I'm walking in the woods surrounded by bluebells very beautiful .... finally handed my customers over so I now have lots of spare time.... I'll post pics if I can figure it out xx
It is the small things. I used to walk home from work overseas and my neighbourhood had lots of cherry blossom trees and I used to walk under them looking up they were so pretty.
I also love dogs and love passing a car with a dog hanging out the window looking like he's having the time of his life. I can't help but smile 😊
I miss seeing the cherry blossom in Washington and the I95 route and parkways to the mountains from ny to Boston the change in scenery especially in the fall was stunning
I hear you. When I was in Australia I missed the 4 seasons as we just went from 40 degrees to 3 months of 20 degrees and some rain. Now I miss the sun.
Coming back to the uk I was so excited to see snow again. Unfortunately we don't get it here.
Grumble for the day 😏
I miss NY weather, the feet of snow and the below freezing temps and the beauty of spring and fall and the hot summers.... I miss the sun too makes such a difference I miss my friends too 😭. But back in the U.K. Just have to make the best of it! I'm in hertfordshire where are you ?
I'm in Edinburgh, I thought of moving to US or Canada for those extreme seasons as I live the snow and the hot weather.
Maybe in the future. Cannot give up hope
Englishmumof2, I'm so glad you checked in. Been thinking of you, and how your vacation went, and if you were able to get everything settled down with your home and life etc. I had actually told my therapist about you, and all the troubles you were going through. She even said she would be willing to talk with you if you wanted, which I thought was cool of her.
So you lived in the DC/ NY area huh? That is cool. I have been back there several times to NIH in Bethesda MD, and been able to venture to the National Mall and the Zoo a few times. Different times of the year have been pretty cool. I was all excited to go back there this June for another Study, but just received an email that may not qualify me to go. Kinda bummed. Was looking forward to vising again even for a very short time.
I would love to see the UK. I had two brothers spend 2 years on an LDS missions in Edinburgh where Amalia lives, and one in the Manchester England area. They both loved it there. I love Canada as well, my mom is from there originally.
I hope your doing well. glad you are getting a little time for yourself, and that you are able to get and about, you deserve it.
Cheryl
Hey Cheryl just read your post... yes lived in NY Scarsdale . We visited D.C. A lot for long weekends away 😀. So I'm House hunting.. first one today was lovely no carpets, AstroTurf garden, a walk in shower ... yippeee. No parking so it's hit and miss! Lovely modern decor and beautiful kitchen. A lot smaller than our current house so we'd need a huge clear out. It's mid terrace which means a house attached each side do I worry about my noisy kids and dog! But it should be easier to keep clean as no mud in garden and no carrots.... would need to buy washing machine and drier... I'm just worried of making a mistake.... headaches, sickness, hand shakes, slept/rested most of this week.... can't get started head can't figure out what to do first so I wonder room to room.... so I think
Today will be quick tidy up and a dog walk xxx
