Just wondering if anyone has been diagnosed with leaky gut , as I have been studying up on the gut and the amount of damage to other parts of the body due to this , can cause us to not absorb vitamins and which can also cause a bad bacteria growth which causes influmation that can cause neurological symptom .. Tommorow I will be starting a new gluten and diary free diet plus probiotics with B12 injections for the next 3 weeks with vitamine D and multi Vitamin in the hole to combat this FND if doctors won't help I will help myself

Hi ronwyn, I don't know about leacky gut, am other way, struggling to pass stools, through trials and error am now passing and not in agony. It's the remembering to take lactulose, to drink lots of water and 1 scennakote in the evening, I also take magnesium twice a day and 1 b12. Like you I'm taking these but dr said they won't help but am trying anything hopefully to have a break from relentless symptoms. Hope you are successful. Lisa. 🤗😊

I know all I have left is to try anything to help as I can't seem to get help from the doctors and little is out there about the condition , I'm driving myself crazy studying and reading up on things that may help me

To get better I got nothing to loose anymore as I've already lost it all 😭😭😭

I feel the same as you, have tried loads of drugs to find out nothing medical helps with FND. I look through what others are trying on this website and try other things too. As you say we have nothing to lose. But thinking of you and sending great big hugs to you. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 and lots of them. Lisa. Xx

Thank you honey sending you lots of 🤗🤗🤗💖💟😇🙏to , I've decided once I'm well enough I'm going to study naturopath or nursing learning might be the key to working this all out

Ronwyn.

I have only touched on surface of leaky gut problem in technical readings. I do vouch strongly for gluten free intake and control over dairy. I am iffy on probiotics but firmly grounded in keeping b12 levels within range. I trust in my pacific NW salmon and summer sunshine here in Seattle for my Vitamin D.

All said, I admire your willingness to take charge and try to stabilize and improve in any way possible. Waiting on medicine is no longer a well thought out approach in this world. I continue to be sent reeling by that one.

Look forward to progress reports from you. Remember, self repair can take a while. The body needs time to adjust to new inputs. I raise my glass of orange juice to you this morning. Thanks for keeping hope in front of our eyes.

Your friend.

Ronwyn.

I found follow up in technical readings on probiotics. February 2017 article study on use of probiotics cited positive impact on cognitive function. But what caught my attention was "effect on biomarkers of oxidative stress and on inflammation and on metabolic profiles - all positive. Conclusion was change in metabolic adjustments might be mechanism by which probiotics affect Alzheimer's and possibly other neurologic disorders."

Thank you for bringing your initiative to awareness of group. I may join you in adding probiotics into diet focus.

Appreciate you so much. Off radar for while now but will look for posts on your progress.

My best to you. Thanks.

Dan / Seattle

Note:. Long suspected metabolic having big effect on our condition but could not find correlating science. Research may be inching closer now. Hopeful news.

Thank you Dan I'm glad to have brought light into our dissorder after all my own research , I have been feeling a lot better in my tummy for the past week since taking them and believe it is helping with the influmation as my last blood test came back with no makers , although I'm still extreamly tiered but my speech is back to normal so it is a start and I didn't exspect it to change overnight but with prolonged use I truly believe it is going to help dramatically .. I will be seeing my neuro this Tuesday and will be addressing this point with him as I believe every FND sufferer should be given this advice to help enhance our ability to function better .. so glad you also did some of your own research and I do feel it will be us sufferes who find ways to be able to cure or better our lives.. keep me up to date with how you start feeling and if you notice any changes in yourself .

Overjoyed to hear of your recent progress. Hope for evidence like yours is a great call to self action. I give tribute to you for brining this subject to the forefront and then to proceed with using the technique without knowing what outcome would happen only to find out it produced desired benefits.

A final tribute for reporting your findings back to the community. I hope you will write a new post on it to give maximum reading exposure to all sufferers.

You show we can help ourselves. Keep reading research.

Absolutely magnificent. Thank you

A friend who has great respect for you.
