hey, I am new new to this site but I have just been diagnosed with NES non epileptic seizures and would like to know if anyone else has it or know of it and how it can be treated many thanks.

Yes I too have nes/neads - and functional neurological disorder, both conditions have totally changed the way I live and symptoms for me vary hour to hour day to day

Yes I have it and I've been having neuro psychology treatment at Salford Royal in Greater Manchester. Ask your neurologist )if you have one) or your GP to be referred to one. Salford also run a block of group sessions that explain why it happens and offers methods of dealing with it i.e. breathing exercises/meditation.

hi, i have non epileptic seizures , and they is no real treated such as medication its more therapy x

I don't think it can be treated I have it and my fits very from day to day sometimes I slur my words before I fit sometimes I just go down middle of the street anywhere I am under changing minds and they have never heard of it I was diagnosed 2 years ago

I have neads I find if I have an infection they are worse but when I have fits my wee is hot and does not flow properly does anybody else get this

Yes it's weird - I don't have any bladder sensation and don't feel the need to wee so have to remind myself to go and sit on the loo every few hours and then it takes a couple of minutes of me willing myself to wee before anything happens!
