BAT (bipolar androgen therapy)

Yes. Many of us.
How long did it work for you?
It's been 4 years now.
That’s amazing! How bad was your metastases? My dad has major spread everywhere. He failed Docetaxel, Pluvicto, and Cabazitaxel . The only treatments that worked was Lupron (almost 10 years) and Zytiga (2 years) , I’m hoping this may work for him or re sensitize him so he can have Xtandi.
T4 in 2018. ADT for 4 1/2 months. High T for 2 years. BAT for 4. Stats for my cancer were 75% chance of death by 2022. I'm still HSPC. Had some lymph mets in 2018. Removed via RP. I had some more in 2023. Modified SBRT zapped those. If you PM me I'll send you a link to my free book. Most of the 600 pages are devoted to BAT and various studies and theories and modifications. Resensitization happens about 65-75% of the time. Denmeade would have the latest numbers.
Thank you so much! I’m hoping the doctor approves this therapy for him. We are at our last hope. Otherwise 4-6 months left per doctor.
No doctor has approved BAT for me. I had to start it on my own. Fortunately they give me Enzalutamide which would be unaffordable. I am trying to change to Darolutamide and to get some Olaparib in Turkey
Hi I am really curious how you started bat on your own? Where you get the testosterone shots? Dosage etc. Is xtandi the only ADT block or are you taking an eligard or similar shot. trying educate if I the bat route down the road.
I have almost completed 2 BAT cycles. Not sure if it is working yet.I buy testosterone gels. I started with enanthate 500 mg, then next time 750 mg. Together with 1000 mg in gels during a few days. Now I will do only gels. I do what I can with what I can get.
No doctor support my BAT decisión
I cannot get testosterone shots anywhere but at some pharmacies I manage to buy gels.
I have been on BAT for 2 years now. it/s a roller coaster ride somethimes with PSA but I am also hormone sensitive. I rely on ADT to knock my PSA back down before going back on High T.
PCaWarrior is the man to follow.
you can also use the good search engine as this subject is very popular.
it is not a good idea since your dad has many bone mets. are his mets painful?
