Some of you might recall that I was looking into Zytiga to see if it could hypothetically work with BAT. One step is to see if D4A blocks 5-ar and therefore DHT. I don't know how applicable the blocking will be from the external 5-ar enzymes and mix (1, 2, 3) to inside the PCa cells. But at least we can get a rough idea of the blocking and whether it might be a concern.
Two points so far.
First, the day after stopping Zytiga, DHT was 25% of expected.
Second, five days after stopping Zytiga, DHT was 47% of expected.
The third will be 3-4 weeks post Zytiga. The fourth (if needed) will be 5-6 weeks post Zytiga.
We want DHT to be 100% of expected at the 3-4 week mark. We can ajust T dose for 60%-80%.
