Latest news from the Hematologist: my JAK2+ from Jan 2012, is now JAK2-, anybody else every had this happen. The doctor was shocked by this! OK folks with PV, ET or MF please chime in!

Doctor said the labs most likely did the blood tests right both times...

This happened to my husband too! He was told he was JAK positive so only hydroxyurea available but no cure! 12 months later at a different hospital he was told he was JAK- but that he was suitable for Ruxitinilib.

Interesting! Well, my genetics are being carefully checked, this time by a hematologist who is more of an expert on MPNs rather than the usual Hematologist/Oncologist doctors (2 of them) I have had since 2012.
