Pramipexole...

I've just been prescribed Pramipexole for RLS...I'm a bit bemused by the side effects, has anyone else taken it and how was it?

the suddenly falling asleep is the one I'm most worried about, compulsive behaviour...pathological behaviour....

If you are unsure of anything ring the Pharmacy where you got your prescriptio and have a chat with the Pharmacist.

The only effect I get from pramipexole is they work wonders for my restless legs,which they were prescibed for.

Have you been taking them and something is wrong.

Or are you reading the leaflet and worried you will suffer from something.

If it`s the former then see your chemist or better still doctor,if it`s the later,then we would take nothing if we paid attetion to everything they have to tell you about.in the leaflet to cover themselves.

I've just been prescribed them after trying the quinine which didn't help and zoplicone which caused bruxism to get worse and suffering with intense facial pain...oh and amytriptoline which helped to begin with but not now. Not taken them yet, I had a warning from the GP to watch out for the side effects....and then read them when I got home.

I'm no that bothered just wondered how common the side effects are, like you said if we listened to everything we'd take nothing...I work and have four young children so was mostly worried about the suddenly falling asleep.

Certainly good to know that they helped you...really looking forward to not suffering...after 15 years!

i have been taken pramipexole for about 6 months now i had rls but i started taken them i have never looked back they are brilliant i have had no side effects whats so ever i would reconment them to anyone
