I've never heard of it x

... Just looked it up.... Don't think it's something I would even want to try....

I'd heard of it but still dug out some more info.

Sounds more like a voodoo ritual with people getting adicted to it.

Might get more benefit from kissing the frog!!

Yeah I know what you r saying but someone I know had it for depression and anxiety and she is so full of life now. I think I might give it a go once, it can't hurt. Well anymore than I do already :p

Just be careful of you are on any current medication, that there are no contra-indications. From the quick look I had, it can have fairly serious consequences. Good luck and keep us updated on how you get on xxx

I wouldn't put that to the test without talking to your GP. Just because someone else gets benefit does not mean you will and as Hazel says it could interact with what your taking already.

I understand desperation n if you are considering treatments that are off piste n have dodgy side effects to boot, you need to take a step back n see how desperate you are. Not trying to be patronising just so many of us have been there, n it's tough. You want to do something maybe anything, to recover.

There are other natural remedies to try that are more generally safe. Or at least have a good safety record.

I would suggest you keep doing your research but don't hurt yourself trying dodgy stuff. The sensible fibro keeps up with research. They look at multiple sources when checking facts. They look for respected sites. It's great your friend is feeling better but sadly you can't deduce from one person that this cure was what made the difference. Please be careful esp remember with depression it can feel like you have nothing to lose.

Have you tried probiotics? Read up on these being linked with better mental health. They are used safely by lots of people now with the main worries being maybe a bit of bloating/ nausea n stuff. A good brand will help.

For me the tummy issues seemed linked with the supplement having prebiotics which can cause bloat n discomfort in some people. I just look for one without now. Personally, I think it helps mood. N research is saying so too. Lots of us have tummy issues too, IBS, GERD, indigestion n so on. Probiotics are great for these n better than swallowing tummy meds several times daily to take the edge off. I think people have noted anxiety n depression improving as a side effect of sorting their tums.

I hope you find something to help but whatever you do, stay safe!!

I've heard of many success stories. I'm trying it next week; I'm taking a trip to Cali specifically for the Kambo treatment. I have fibro and depression.... I'll keep you posted!
