Could you please tell me if high level of anxiety is a major symptom of fibro thanks?

Hello Roz, I would be inclined to say YES, the pain and getting used to living with Fibro is enough to set the nerves rattling, then work and colleagues accepting you cant do as much as you could or other jibes about you! then there,s the dreaded hospitals and g.p,s and then possibly having to put yourself through applying for benefits and being made to feel unworthy.. Does any of this relate to you? Stay with our Forum, there area lot of people here who can help and advise, feel free to offload and have a moan- we all do!!

Hi I was disguised with depression and anxiety last year. They reckon anybody with chronic pain such as fibro will suffer. You. Need to get professional help. I use a group called healthy minds through the pain management team at my local hospital. They have at least got me to understand pain and accept I do suffer from depression and anxiety. Good luck.

I would say that many Fibro sufferers have an anxiety issue but by no means all sufferers? There are a great many symptoms with Fibro but not everyone has them all. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.
