We used to use it in the Grooming salon, was great if the pet had a sore/ dry skin...... diluted with warm water, it helped heal the skin. I use it for many things including remedies for myself and as an all purpose cleaner around the house. It's simply magical stuff. Do buy a good brand though :) x

I find that it is good for getting the gunk off your gums when you have used denture fixative. :P

Hi GothBird,

You need to get the unfiltered type with the probiotics in the bottle. I get Biona organic. about £3 for 750mls, though there's a few other brands. It should say on the label whether it contains the probiotic "mother".

The probiotics good at improving digestion, & reducing bad bacteria in the gut. The acids help reduce indigestion in older people, who produce weaker stomach acids, & the probiotics help get rid of H. Pylori.

I think a few spoons half an hour before eating is the best way to take it. I sometimes mix it with a bit of raw honey & green tea. I also used it to make elderberry vinegar for salads.

There's lots of articles like this on the internet: articles.mercola.com/sites/...

I use epsom salts, calcium magnesium sulphate, in my bath. Magnesium helps stop me aching. I go through quite a lot, so get 25kg sack every few months, which is a fraction of the price of buying small boxes from a pharmacy. epsomsaltcouncil.org/

Just sent a private message.

Think it'd be a lot more expensive to use ACV in the bath than Epsom salts, which definitely help FM aches.

Interesting, it is something I must look into for myself. Thanks :)

Hi There I get the Braggs (raw and unfiltered) Organic cider vinegar (with mother) from Amazon. It's great for digestive problems and low stomach acid. I take it before meals in warm water. It's a natural remedy for heartburn.

Hi 🙋

I haven't used it myself but a friend of mi e had kidney stones and he kept getting them blasted to break them up but it didn't touch them his doctors left hin in agony for months he asked to have them surgically removed but they said lets wait so I looked up remedies on line and got him cider vinegar and made him up a beverage to drink he used it for a week twice a day and the pain got less and less by the end of the week he was pain free went back to the consultant and when they did the ultra sound the stones had all dissolved the consultant was a bit smug at first and said to him "see I told you it would sort itself and you were making a fuss for nothing" my friend said actually my friend cured me not you ge told him what I had made him and how the pain got less and less and the smug look drained from his face my friend said it was priceless to see, I have since changed his diet for him to prevent stones forming again he is getting use to it lol 😁

Wow what a fantastic story!! Haha wish I'd seen the look on the Consultants face!! My daughter's Father-in-Law has kidney stones so I will pass this story on. I drink it twice a day and it keeps my IBS in check. I'm so much better than I used to be. It's fantastic stuff! Keep well. x

If your father in law is prone to kidney stones he should check the amount of protein he has in his diet, my friend was a big meat eater and si ce he cut down his meat intake he has been fine xx

in reply to

Hi Fluffy - thank you. I will tell my daughter as it's her husband's Father. He has been very ill, in terrible pain. I'm not sure what his diet is like as we don't see them much but I do know he is going to have the stones removed via key hole surgery. But like you I believe prevention is better than cure. Many thanks. xx
