Hi bwaite

I am so sorry to read that this has happened to you, but you are definitely not alone in this! I am seeing a physiotherapist at the moment and she is absolutely wonderful. I have been performing my exercises religiously, and just recently (because of my arthritis) I have been suffering from very bad neck pains, which in turn are giving me lots of headaches.

I also have sciatic nerve damage, and doing the foot exercise, whereby you wriggle your toes and then open them is horrendous and I get a bad sciatica type pain in my back, hip and bottom. However, I will carry on with the exercises until it kills me! I don't like to give up! My physio quite rightly says, that if I haven't exercised a muscle recently then it will hurt when I exercise, and I can really see the logic in this!

I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to this issue? Have you discussed the pain issue with your therapist? As it would be a good idea to keep them informed of what is happening for you?

All my hopes and dreams for you

I agree the only thing that bothers me is the therapist is

Leaving the training girl alone. I'm going again on

Wednsday, but I'm not doing

The excersizes that cause

this reaction again! X

That is probably a good idea! The whole point is to make long term improvements for yourself not make yourself worse!

Take care

Amen. Not only do symptoms recede then recur, but most of us know and talk about having to pace ourselves. Gotta take action and let important people know. Gotta pipe up or they might not see the negative results of what other people can tolerate but not most of us.

Kudos to you Ken, lol.I haven't tht much courage or stamina, but I'm working on getting back into physical action. (today my right arm is weak and sore right down to the fingertips, and I am just fatigued, but this is one day at a time)

Hi clare_hart

Thank you for that, and I agree with you totally. I must admit because of my sciatic nerve damage that the pain is always worse (down my right leg) after I have done my foot exercise!

I am sorry to read that you are having pain and fatigue problems today, and I genuinely hope that you have a much better day tomorrow.

Morning Exercise has to be taken in moderation a little and often and then you gradually build your muscle back It is so very easy to go from every thing is ok I am doing fine and then you tweek or over stress one of our muscles or joints..

So all exercise has to be taken rhythmically giving our selves "PACING" time.

I often seem to at it like a bull in a china shop. The following day I am useless. I have exercises for my eyes ant the moment - what a hassle - those weights are so heavy! LOL

Take care every one remember the word is mightier than the sword.
