just wondering if any of you have been referred to one due to problems with your memory ? if so how did the appointment go ? i have been referred and had my first appointment with her at a hospital yesterday and she is coming to see me next week at my home

Hi bbstport, I certainly haven't, but there may be people here who have, in fact I think I remember reading a post about it, but cannot possibly remember who it was and when, sorry.
I really hope that your appointment went well and that your appointment next week goes well too. Do let us know how you get on, my memory isn't great and plays tricks on me all the time but sometimes I do remember , normally about three or four hours after I needed to !!

Yes, twice. Last time was last summer and I found it extremely helpful. It told me what I already knew about the weaknesses so I could develop strategies and avoidance tactics ( probably not so good!). Was also pleased to see that I hadn't deteriorated too much from the last one a few years ago.
My memory issues started with a stroke in 1998 when they discovered I had Hughes Syndrome. I have since developed fibro so have a double whammy for the memory and brain fog.
