Morning cliffmo,
Sorry no tips but Iwe can maybe suggest relaxation techniques which may help your overall picture.
Or have you tried every route let us know You have been diagnosed by a doctor and what meds has he put you on? I know this is a long condition and you have to learn to manage it yourself so managing Fibro at the same time may make it easier rather than more difficult You have my sympathy

Hi Cliffmo,
I have fibromyalgia and ulcerative colitis and its very very hard to handle the two together. Sometimes because of the pain in my legs I cannot reach the toilet quick enough
I take a lot of meds for the fibro which in turn sets off the colitis.
It's just one of those horrid double conditions that doesn't quite go well together.
I,wish you well.
Kind regards Lucy
I have Fibromyalgia and Crohn's Disease - I won't lie - it is very difficult - but you will get there!! I did have 5 years of FM before I was diagnosed with Crohn's (though of course my symptoms did come long before the diagnosis) but the lack of muscle control of FM and the NEED for muscle control with Crohn's don't live happily side by side and managing things is key. But there are medications out there that help (though they don't eradicate the 'complications' of the 2). I don't come on here a great deal, though I do 'dip in' every now and again but if I can do anything to help you 'ease' into thiings, best of luck Annex
