I'm 42 in a few weeks and have just had my 1st FET with DE. I've had previous OE ivf which I had fresh transfers but the embryos never got to blastocyst so knew they would fail from the get go.I'm currently 7dp5dt and even though I said I wouldn't I tested at 5dp5dt in the morning and got a faint positive. I tested again at 6dp5dt in the evening and got a very obvious positive. I've tested again this morning at 7dp5dt and again positive. My OTD is Sunday 23rd so that would be 12dp5dt.

I'm desperately trying not to get my hopes up but my chances are looking good aren't they? If I've been getting positives from 5dp5dt is that a good sign if it's showing positive this early?

I do know anything can happen but I'm sure I've read somewhere that the earlier the implantation the less likelihood of miscarriage?

I'll attach my test clearblue is the 6dp5dt pm result

That’s amazing news! A positive at 5dp5dt that’s getting darker is definitely a great sign! It sounds like your little embryo implanted nice and early, which is always reassuring. I totally get trying to stay cautiously hopeful, but things are looking really promising so far. Keeping everything crossed for you. xx

Thank you so much for replying!

Ah I can't actually believe it! Keep getting a wave of excitement then try and drag myself back down just in case.My husband won't actually belive it's positive until OTD so he's being very cautious xx

Ah that’s wonderful! Well done! Yes it’s looking very good to have a strong test so early. My DE daughter implanted early I think as her HCG was over 1000 at 12dp5dt. Wishing you all the best of luck and a smooth and straightforward pregnancy xx

Thank you so much! X

Hard to do but best try not to test again before your OTD Continue with healthy diet - drink plenty of fluids - take any meds you have been given as directed

Good luck wishes for the future

Congratulations on getting your BFP so early! It’s a wonderful sign and should give you a lot of reassurance since your tests are getting darker. 🎉

May I ask you if you have had any symptoms since your transfer? If so, would you mind sharing them?

I’m 8dp5dt and haven’t tested yet, but am having some symptoms so I’m very hopeful. 🤰🏼🙏🏻😃

Hello! Thank you! Well tbh I've tried not to symptom spot as I'm on a heap of meds so know they come with their own 'symptoms' but all I've really had is twinges/stitch like feeling mainly on my lower right side and sometimes on my left side. I've needed the loo a lot more during the night but then I'm drinking more water so that would explain that and I'm tired but I'm putting that down to the meds.

I have no sore boob's, no implantation bleeding nothing you would be classed as classic symptoms really.

Good luck! Xx

Thank you so much for your reply! I hear you about not “symptom spotting”.

I’ve been doing my best not to do that as well,😅 but I have had a few interesting symptoms, so I was curious to see if you have had any too.

It gives me such hope that you didn’t have the “classic” implantation symptoms with the bleeding, or sore boobs, because I have not either, but I have had the twinges and prick feelings on the left and right side of my uterus as well.

I know many women who have zero symptoms at all with their BFP, so it’s different for everyone,

And these meds are so powerful and cause so many symptoms on their own. I have been having to use the loo a ton as well.

Your beta is right around the corner, right?

Please keep us posted on your results. Sending lots of baby dust, for a healthy and beautiful pregnancy for you. So exciting!

Thank you for your good luck wishes for me too. ✨ Xx 🦋
