*sensitive post- I just found out I conceived naturally after failed IVF

We were about to start our next cycle after another failed one 2 months ago. Three weeks ago we had our consultation with our fertility doctor and we were booked for an initial scan and we were just waiting for my period. I am due AF tomorrow but 4 days ago I was having what felt like period cramps and I thought I might start my period early this cycle. After a few hours I had noticed a tiny tinge of brown discharge (sorry TMI) and that’s it. Its just like a drop of blood then nothing after. I went home and something just told me to take a pregnancy test and since I still have loads of wondfo so I caved in. I was really shocked to see a faint line. It’s really faint but it’s there. No need to squint. It’s really visible. I tested twice daily after that because I wanted to monitor my hcg after having a chemical pregnancy last time I think I got traumatised. I can’t say I am 100% happy yet. I am happy but scared it might be another chemical.

Hi. Huge congratulations! This happened to me as well. I was supposed to book a date for my FET, but I fell pregnant naturally at the same time. Congratulations! I experienced the same thing in July. We were waiting for my period so I could start our second cycle after our first cycle failed following 3 unsuccessful embryo transfers. I am now 10 weeks pregnant and just starting to relax into it. We've had one private scan at 7 weeks and saw a heartbeat. I have another private scan on Monday, if all is ok, I can feel happy that we managed on our own. I totally understand you may be feeling nervous and wish you all the best with you pregnancy! The private scans are around £60 which I think is totally worth it for peace of mind x
