PGTA results - how did you get them?

Did you receive them as a report or did you have to wait for an appointment with a doctor?

Thanks for any insights!

Hello When I initially received the results it was over the phone and given to me by an embryologist. It was later put in a report / letter and emailed to me x

thank you for this. I hope my clinic does similar. Did you have to wait long for the embryologist to speak to you? X

I think they told me the time frame by which to expect the results and the embryologist spoke to me within this time frame. I think the results took 2-3 weeks x

Hey! Mine was the same as Skittles. I got a phone call from the lab. I don't think it took very long - like 14 days max. Then the letter came in the post x

Thank so much for letting me know. I’m relieved it wouldn’t be too long to wait x

Hello, I was told results could take 6 weeks and I got them in about 5 days. Phone call with the clinic, very high level results just confirming how many had returned as euploid. They didn’t actually send me anything in writing but I have since asked and they shared by email. X

I had an appt booked with the doctor and it just so happened results were back the day before so he shared them with me and sent me a copy by email. I had some complicateed results so had a follow up call with the genetic counsellor. I think standard practice is for an embryologist/ genetic counsellor to share the results. Good luck x
